o my lord and my life, I have about 40 of those bulls, including the golden one and they still all have their Catalan flags attached. I did turn them into art a while ago http://www.flickr.com/photos/ascatteredbrain/2354403030/in/set-72157608447833819/, but Joe broke it (boys! :S) and now they sit in a dish while I think about finding the time to do something new with them. You have given me a kick in the arse to get on with it now. And bejazus I love that plate. Today I'll mostly be having my pancakes with spinach and feta and bien sûr, tomatoes x

that plate is part of our 50's dinner service ~ I bought it a month or so after we moved here: *had been using our homemaker plates much to the horror of my brother-in-law*
it came from a local 'antique' shop and was a bargain £30 with two lidded tureens, a serving plate, a salad bowl, coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, 6 saucers, but only two cups, 6 large and 6 small dinner plates, 6 large and 6 small side plates and 5 large and 5 small bowls!
